RAUSCH CLASSICS is the continuation of a success story that started in 1932. In that year Ernst Rausch established a wholesale trade with construction fittings.
The stage that was crucial for the present development began in 1958, when Karl Rausch introduced the first exclusive garden furniture collection under the name Côte d'Azur on the German market.
Just a few years later, at the Frankfurt Furniture Fair, the presentation of the first rattan collection followed, that demonstrated top level European design and quality, at a time when rattan was still hardly known. Thus for the first time furniture for indoor areas was offered, thereby laying the foundations for close relations with the Philippines and Indonesia that continue to this day...

The next step in the company history took place in 1995 when Andreas M. Rausch, together with his partner Andreas W. Futterer, took over the business under the name RAUSCH CLASSICS GmbH. In the meantime new designs were added to the traditional collections. As a result, our current product range offers a wellbalanced blend of clear, contemporary shapes, selected "RAUSCH Evergreens", and furniture which brings along the "familiar" as a positive design characteristic. Rather than producing short-lived, fashionable furniture, it is our goal to build furniture of timeless elegance which you can enjoy for many years. To maintain and continuously improve this as well as our recognized high quality standard is our constant and primary concern.
