Royal Botania Furniture

It was in the winter of ’92 that Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman ran into each other again. That was some years after they first met, when studying for engineer in Antwerp Belgium. Both eager to start their own business, they came up with the idea of importing some teak outdoor furniture from Indonesia. They were about to find out that most of the stuff on the market however was poor quality , colonial style furniture.

Outdoor Hammock by Eric Nyberg

Alusion by Kris van Puyvelde

The fusion of straight lines and smooth curves. Indeed, the rectangular aluminium tubes are in strong contrast with the curves of the frame. The latter allow optimal ergonomics. The chairs, carvers, as well as the loungers of this featherweight range are readily stackable. An advantage to those who want to store the furniture in winter time. An illusion to think the ALUSION can’t stand cold winters…

Kokoon by Oliver le Pensec

Getting away from the hectic world, sheltering in your own private universe, that’s what KOKOON is all about. Suspended between earth and sky, either all by yourself or with some friends. A set of curtains can be added, making your KOKOON an even more romantic place to dwell.

O-ZON

Look up at the sun, and you will realise where we got our inspiration for the O-ZON range. When struck by its blinding appearance, just put on your sunglasses.

Sunday

Are you captivated by the warm elegance of woven fibre? If so, the SUNDAY collection might be your ideal choice. The alluminium frame has been shaped by the principles of ergonomics and aesthetics, mixing straight lines and smooth curves. Only an expert can weave the CoaXXS® fibre in this way it is woven on a "SUNDAY". The result speaks for itself...

Ninix

NINIX means both minimal and maximal. A Contradiction? Not if you know that in material selection, comfort, and refinement, the maximum is being offered. The hairline finish of the stainless steel frame, the woodwork in carefully selected teak, it’s optimalised ergonomics. The minimum relates to the lines of the design. Almost a pity to use outdoors....

Mixt

The name reveals the concept- a mix of different materials. The frame is made of noble mature teak, the subframe of stainless steel, and finished with a Batyline® upholstery. This series blends perfectly into its environment, be it contemporary or more classical.

E-Z

Quite difficult to make a hammock more compact. Very hard to make one more comfortable. Impossible one more elegant. But don’t worry...Just take it E-Z.

New England

The origin of the NEW ENGLAND range is based on the Adirondack chair, first designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 for his summerhouse in Westport New York. When updating this American classic, our focus was on getting it more aesthetically balanced, enhancing the functionality and level of refinement, without disavowing its roots.

Solid

We still cherish our roots! Indeed for many years the Royal Botania name has been associated with fine teak outdoor furniture. That is why the refinement that Royal Botania is known for is obviously found in the selection of carefully harvested mature teakwood, the supreme precision of the manufacturing and of course the ergonomic designs. Indeed...only the best is good enough!

Kennebunk

Woodlodge and Royal Botania joined forces in 2007. The refreshing ideas from Woodlodge designer Pierre Stelmaszyk, combining classical elements and contemporary style, fit nicely into the Royal Botania picture. KENNEBUNK is a reflection of all this: the painted woodwork wrapped around the shiny stainless steel frame has charisma to spare, while the level of refinement leaves no room for improvement.
